God is Good!

We must always remember that God is Good! 

As the song declares:

God is good all the time

He put a song of praise in this heart of mine

God is good all the time

Through the darkest night, His light will shine

If you're walking through the valley

And there are shadows all around

Do not fear, He will guide you

He will keep you safe and sound

'Cause He's promised to never leave you

Nor forsake you and His Word is true

We were sinners and so unworthy

Still for us He chose to die

Filled us with His Holy Spirit

Though I may not understand

And through the eyes of faith, I can clearly see

That God is good all the time...

 We would sing this in our Praise and Worship Team and every time it would made me happy. My heart would rejoice and my day seemed a little brighter.
After yesterday I felt compelled to remind you that whatever difficulty you are facing, whatever hardship you are going through... God is still on His Throne, He is still in control, and He loves you and me!

Spend some time talking to your Heavenly Father. Tell Him your heartache. Tell Him about your troubles and ask Him to show you why He’s allowed them into your life. I promise you that He has good in this for you, and it’s okay to ask Him what that good might be. A prayer is just an honest talk to God from your heart!  

Give your burdens to the Lord, and he will take care of you. He will not permit the godly to slip and fall. *Psalm 55:22

Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus. *Philippians 4:6-7

Waiting is difficult but wait with expectancy, believing that our God is good and He is able and willing to answer your prayer!

Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord. *Psalm 27:14

Thankfulness [for me] is often a stumbling block. I usually want to relish in my own self pity. But the Lord desires for us to rise up higher, to find the good and hold on to it tightly.

This is the day the Lord has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it. *Psalm 118:24

Which brings me back to the song - God is Good...

Singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs among yourselves, and making music to the Lord in your hearts. And give thanks for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. *Ephesians 5:19-20

  I couldn't think of a better song to bring a smile to your face and skip in your step in the midst of difficulties and hardships. I pray that whatever your need is that our Lord will richly bless you and help you through it!
