Mercy Called Me By Name...

One of the very first songs I ever sang as a solo in church was called: Mercy Called Me By Name.
The words to this song permeate through every part of my being.

Just one of the common, no title to hold,
And no great distinction pinned to my soul.
Alone and defeated, no hope could be seen,
Until something happened at Calvary's tree.
      When Mercy sought me and called me by name,
      God's Mercy called me by name.
      Guilty, unworthy, to Jesus I came.
      When His Mercy called me, He called  me   by name.
And now in the Lamb's book of Life I am found.
Redeemed by His blood, my names written down.
Joint heirs with Jesus, I'm a child of the King.
But the greatest of wonders is still this one thing -
        When Mercy sought me and called me by name,
        God's Mercy called me by name.
        Guilty, unworthy, to Jesus I came.
       When His Mercy called me, He called me by name!

It's because of God's Mercy that we are able to show mercy ourselves.

As many of you already know I have started a daily vlog on You Tube and although I believed that the Lord was telling me to do this I wasn't sure of the direction He wanted me to go with it. However after awhile I realized That He wanted me to be an encouragement to other people. To help them to look at their own life with expectation and enjoyment. Expectation in what God will do, and enjoyment in life regardless of our circumstances.

And so it is my prayer that you will join me through my daily journey... and tell others about my You Tube channel and in that way we can be an encouragement to each other!
