On Shannon Long’s blog called Sweet Blessings, she offers monthly
[printable] scripture writing plans. I’ve am amazed how writing (not just reading)
the verses makes a difference and I encourage you to try this. I now wake up
looking forward to sitting down with my first cup of coffee and begin my day with
scripture writing!

The next Blog is called The Encouraging Homeschool Mom, by
Jamerrill Stewart.
She is a remarkable lady that I’ve followed for a while now
on YouTube, Facebook and her blog.
She is a breath of fresh air in a chaotic and self-absorbed world. She also is the one that mentioned the Sweet Blessings Blog and the Scripture writing plans available.
One time while watching one of her videos I noticed she had hand writing on the back of her hand and was curious about it and I went to her blog to see if I could find out about it.

One time while watching one of her videos I noticed she had hand writing on the back of her hand and was curious about it and I went to her blog to see if I could find out about it.
She explained how writing Bible verses
on her hand gave her strength, hope, and encouragement each day.
She wrote:"It’s no secret that as moms we quickly find ourselves smack dab in a place (that “place” being daily life) where we know we need to cling to God’s word for all it’s worth. These little people need us, and that fact quickly points us back to Jesus and our desperate need for Him…
Wow! And her humility and virtue shines through each blog and video.
So this is now a practice I have begun; not
every day, but on those [all too often] days that “life happens” it is a
helpful tool!
After all we are told in Deuteronomy 6: 6–9
“And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up. You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates."
Here is something else Jamerrill Stewart wrote on one of her blog posts that got my attention -
Focusing on God’s Word gets my mind off of me, off my
failings, off my holes and inconsistencies. Having a promise so close, in my
face if need be, reminds me who my Father is, and who I am in Him.
And then this -
Focusing on God’s Word keeps my heart on Jesus, and quickly
gets my heart back on Jesus if I need to realign myself in faith. Did I start
to worry, feel confusion, or let stress or anxiety creep in? For me that
usually means my mind has gotten too busy reasoning or trying to figure things
out.
Wow, isn't that a true statement! What a blessing. And though these ladies may never know the impact
they have had on me this side of heaven, I look towards that Day when we
will all be together rejoicing with the Lord Jesus Christ in heaven!

So for anyone that may need a little encouragement, or maybe some helpful ideas that you could incorporate into your life and family. Which include a variety of things... from grocery shopping for the month, to freezer meal cooking, slow-cooker recipes, homeschooling, and more.
Until we meet again...
Philippians 1:20 - according to my earnest expectation and hope that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but with all boldness, as always, so now also Christ will be magnified in my body, whether by life or by death.
