A bit of a busy day 🧺 Our Intercessor

Hebrews 7:25
“Therefore, He is able also to save forever those who draw near to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.”

Christ is our kinsman Redeemer, who has rescued us from our sins and seated us together with Himself in heavenly places as sons of God and joint-heirs with Christ,
And is seated on the right hand of the Majesty on high; interceding for us, praying for us and
defending His children from the accusations of the enemy and protecting the church, which is His body, with His never-ending intercessions to the Father.

You see, Jesus didn't just come and die to be raised from the dead to give us life.
As incredible and wonderful as this gift is. He adds another blessing to all that He has done for us.
Jesus lives to ask God for grace in our behalf. Jesus is not only our Savior, he is our defender and brother at the Father's side!

Christ ever lives and Christ ever intercedes on our behalf.
For Christ has promised to save us from the power of sin.
And also to sanctify… to the uttermost, body, soul and spirit, as day by day His Holy Spirit conforms us into the image and likeness of Christ Jesus.

His saving grace will be carried through until its completion.
for He will never abandon any that have come to Him and trusted in His name as their Lord and Savior.
There is no time nor place where His sacrifice of intercession does not reach us… as he has promised, I will never leave you nor forsake you.

Jesus’ intercession on our behalf is not a matter of placating an angry Father who wants to destroy us.
It is not a matter of continually chanting prayers on behalf of His people.
It means that He continually represents us before the Father so that we can draw near through Him, and that He defends us against Satan’s accusations and attacks.
Just think, At this very moment, the Son of God Himself is advocating for you and for me at the throne of God. He is our divine Intercessor.

The more we learn of God’s Word and the wonderful covenant relationship that He has with His church, the more we discover His blessings and come to an understanding of Who God is and what He is doing and all that He has planned for those that love Him.

Verse 26-28 say:  For it was indeed fitting that we should have such a high priest, holy, innocent, unstained, separated from sinners, and exalted above the heavens. He has no need, like those high priests, to offer sacrifices daily, first for his own sins and then for those of the people, since he did this once for all when he offered up himself. For the law appoints men in their weakness as high priests, but the word of the oath, which came later than the law, appoints a Son who has been made perfect forever.

The more we see an unveiling of His glory upon glory…
And the more we recognize God’s grace upon grace that is daily being showered upon all His blood-bought children.
How can we not love to the uttermost the One Who has saved us to the uttermost?
