A day up for grabs ** Strengthened for all power

Colossians 1: 11:
[May you] “being strengthened with all power, according to His glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy;”

Today’s verse starts out with the words: ‘being strengthened’
This suggests that it is a continuous action… not a one-time occurrence in which a person receives power from God.
But an ongoing experience in which each of us must be constantly strengthened by the power of God.
And this strength comes from God… through His power and might and not from ourselves.
This is because we can’t do nothing apart from God.
So, for anything to be accomplished… …such as having endurance and patience and walking worthy of the Lord, and even the ability to please God…
It has to be done through God Himself and cannot be from our own power and strength.

You see, Paul is praying for the Colossians to be strengthened…
However, he is not just praying for something random… He is praying that the believers would be strengthened through the power of God…
The type of power from God that others can see on display in the life of a believer… as their Lord interacts with His people.

We must clearly understand that the power to endure… the power to be patient… can only come from the Lord.
We must recognize that it is His work…
If any of us work in our own strength… we will fail every time.
We must be willing to be constantly evaluate and examine ourselves on how we handle situations…  and in whose strength are they being handled.
We have the very power of God available to us from the One who is infinite!
To be strengthened with God's power by God's strength to endure with patience and joy.

I hope you enjoy the video and God bless!
