A sandwich to go with the pickled peppers ** Contradictory?

Psalm 97: 10
Hate evil, you who love the Lord.

Billy Graham gave this illustration:
I tell you that God hates sin just as a father hates a rattlesnake that threatens the safety and life of his child.
God loathes evil and diabolic forces that would pull people down to a godless eternity just as a mother hates a venomous spider that is found playing on the soft, warm flesh of her little baby.

We need to understand that… God hates evil He hates sin.
He hates sin because He is holy and sin is completely contradictory to His Holy & Divine Nature.

Why does God hate the sin of mankind? Because sin separates us from Him…
Because God loves mankind… He sent His Son into the world to pay the price for sin.
That’s how passionately God loves us, and that’s how vehemently He hates our sin.

"Hatred" will sound like a contradiction in terms to those who view all hatred as evil.
But love and hate are inseparable. You can't truly love something and be complacent about the things that oppose or threaten it.

Remember we are to love righteousness and hate sin…

we must never, ever, turn to hating our fellow man.

As 1 John 2:11 tells us:

“Whoever hates his brother is in the darkness … and does not know where he is going”

And 1 John 3:15; “Everyone who hates his brother is a murderer”

We must always love our fellow man but hate the evil and the sin that God hates...
We must love the one who's soul is made in the image of God...
But hate the evil and sin that was committed.
God Bless... Please watch the video and enjoy the recipe!
