THY WILL BE DONE...

Have you ever had an inner [nagging] burden? Something deep within that won't let go. It's always there; constantly reminding you of a problem or difficulty. The only remedy is to pray and surrender the problem to the Lord and yet the problem is still there. I cannot seem to move on, [so to speak], because nothing has changed, the obstacle is still there, like a wound that won't heal, there are times fear grips a hold of me and at other times reproach.
I remember similar feelings after the death of my young son, Timmy.
But this is different, this difficulty has taken me to an area that's obscure to me. A place that is disturbing and perplexing.
Yet I cry out to the Lord, doing all I can to hold on to my faith and believe He will answer. Some nights I cry myself to sleep, praying for the Lord to move powerfully according to His will and purpose. And yet there is that burden... quietly stirring within... driving me continuously to prayer.

Then I heard... THY WILL BE DONE
And although the burden is still there, it is not my burden as I have given that to the Lord. However it is now my obligation... my call to pray... Thy Will Be Done!
Here is a link to the song...

"Thy Will Be Done" by Hillary Scott and Scott the Family.

And the lyrics...
I’m so confused I know I heard You loud and clear So, I followed through Somehow I ended up here I don’t wanna think I may never understand That my broken heart is a part of Your plan When I try to pray All I’ve got is hurt and these four words

Thy will be done, Thy will be done, Thy will be done

I know You’re good But this don’t feel good right now And I know You think Of things I could never think about It’s hard to count it all joy Distracted by the noise Just trying to make sense Of all Your promises. Sometimes I gotta stop Remember that You’re God And  I am not, So...
Thy will be done, Thy will be done, Thy will be done
Like a child on my knees all that comes to me is,
Thy will be done, Thy will be done, Thy will be done

I know You see me I know You hear me, Lord Your plans are for me Goodness You have in store I know You hear me, I know You see me, Lord Your plans are for me Goodness You have in store, So...
Thy will be done, Thy will be done, Thy will be done
Like a child on my knees all that comes to me is,
Thy will be done, Thy will be done, Thy will be done, I know You see me, I know You hear me, Lord.

As Jesus Christ taught us to pray...  Matthew 6:10 - Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
And then when Jesus prayed in the garden of Gethsemane in Matthew 26:42 - O my Father, if this cup may not pass away from me, except I drink it, thy will be done.

Therefore I too will say, "Thy Will Be Done..."
