I have completely neglected my blog.
Ever since my husband
has been off work because of surgery, I have gotten out of my routine. It’s
been nice having him home. However the normal things that I’d do, like cleaning
the house, have been woefully ignored.
Not on purpose or because I don’t have the time or energy to clean, but because I get distracted.
Rick will come into the room and ask if I want some coffee or tea and then sit down with me. . .
Or he’ll ask me a question (which always leads to a discussion). . .
Or he will want to tell me about what he is studying that day. . .
Sometimes he’ll pick up the car keys and suggest that we go for a sandwich or for a drive. . .

The other day he said he needed to go to the store and he came home with ice-cream, chocolate syrup and peanuts!
So much for our diet!
Actually if this is anything like what it will be when he retires I’m looking forward to it!
The only down fall will be a dirty house. . .
That's okay, blame it on your husband! Praise the Lord; retirement will be good.
