Two projects going on at the same time ** Justified

Romans 3:22-24

22 even the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all those who believe; for there is no distinction; 23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 being justified as a gift by His grace through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus;

Our scriptures start out by telling us that “There is no difference in regard to the way in which we are justified... That all must be saved, whether Jews or Gentiles, bond or free, rich or poor, educated or not… No one can be saved by works…
As verse 23 declares, "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."

As we have previously learned our righteousness did not come from the Law since the Law condemns us…

And Justification is the solution, to the condemning effects of sin…

I remember as a young Christian being taught that justification meant… just as if we’d never sinned!

But justification can also be stated like this: Just as if I’d always obeyed. (I love that!)

In Jesus, a transaction has been made. We gave Jesus our sin and the Law’s sentence for sin (Rom. 6:23). And He gave us His perfect record of obeying the Law (righteousness) and the reward... eternal life (John 3:16; Rom. 8:4).

Paul wrote to the Corinthian church, in 2 Corinthians 5:21; “God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God”.

Jesus justified us...
So there could be no charge from the Law, no condemning effects from sin and most importantly so He could grant us eternal life as the reward for fulfilling the Law!

Being justified - is, being treated as if we had kept the Law.
We could not be justified by any merit of their own, or by personal obedience to the Law.
God justifies us because of His favor, it is not a right, but of gift. And This is the essence of the gospel.
 God bless... and enjoy the video.
