Seasoning blend for chicken ** His workmanship

Ephesians 2: 10
For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.

In today’s verse we read about God’s workmanship, which unlike human workmanship, God’s is always perfect.

Now this verse is a statement of our identity.
The word translated “workmanship” was a word used in Biblical times for the work of a skilled craftsman.
And here we are told that we are made by God, in Christ, for… good works…
I other words… “Good works” is why we are here…
Now remember, these good works do not save us… as we previously discussed.
But, these works are the evidence that we are God’s workmanship.

God’s intention is that our salvation will result in acts of service.
We’re not saved for our own purpose…
We’re not saved to live a self-centered life…
We are saved to serve Christ…
We are created for good works…
We are created to walk in good works…
We were not created to follow the course of this world…
We were created for something far more glorious…
And each one of us has an important job description given by our Creator…
Every good work we do is simply fulfilling our God-given purpose…

As believers, you and I were created to make an eternal impact that is incredibly important and completely unique…
Because each one of us has a unique purpose that is solely our own…
As Christian’s, we have been made new. The person that we were before believing in Jesus has been redeemed and transformed.
And we have the same Holy Spirit dwelling in us that raised Jesus from the dead and empowered the disciples!

Making an eternal impact isn’t about you or me…
It’s about the “excellencies of Him who called you and I out of darkness and into his marvelous light.

It’s about proclaiming with our life… the depth of power... love… grace… and forgiveness our heavenly Father has to all who believe.
For He is always with us and desires for our lives to make an eternal impact.
And there is no greater way to live our life than to demonstrate to others the Love of God…
Enjoy the video... and God bless!
