My hope is to bring joy and truth into peoples lives through learning how the Lord Jesus Christ can bring peace and salvation into our lives. He is so much more then "a ticket to heaven" He can transform our life and bring love, and comfort to all who will ask. Even when we are facing difficult times and seem alone in a world full of people Jesus will bring us to a place of hope.
“IF”, that’s the word that comes to my mind. My life this summer was difficult and full of strife. I had conflict within my heart. I felt grief without understanding. Sadness seemed to fall over me and it encompassed me, refusing to leave. I had no ambition, or desire, or motivation. My spirit was empty, and void.
“WORDS”, they are powerful. They can encourage, or build up, and they can cause strife, or tear down. They can bring beauty and hope into one’s life. They can also bring discouragement, and destroy one’s ability to have any sense of purpose.
These two little words: “IF and “WORDS” when put in the proper context, were my down fall. They were the spring board that brought a huge stumbling block into my path with no ability for me to remove it.
“IF”, God’s people would walk according to “God’s Word” defining their lives by love.
“IF”, God’s people would consider others in the way that “God’s Word” defines.
“IF”, God’s people would express themselves with kindness and an attitude of acceptance.
“IF”, God’s people would speak words of support and not gossip or complain about others.
“IF”, God’s people would speak, and conduct themselves as if Christ Jesus was standing next to them.
“IF”, God’s people would not show favoritism, or preference among His people.
“IF”, God’s people would: think the best, hope for the best, and expect the best of all God’s children.
“WORDS”, are to express hope.
“WORDS”, are to be enveloped in love,
“WORDS”, are to be helpful in spiritual matters and in life’s difficulties.
“WORDS”, are to spoken with thoughtful consideration to the one hearing them.
“WORDS”, are to give direction when needed or required.
“WORDS”, are never to tear down or cause the hearer to become distraught.
“WORDS”, are to enlighten and instruct and edify the hearer.
“IF”, only God’s people would realize their “WORDS”, can become a boulder so large, so wide, so high, that the one with whom their “WORDS”, were spoken to, are now spiritually bankrupt; alone, with no sense of purpose and without the ability to move on.
When will His people who are called by His name begin to seriously look within their own heart and look into the mirror of their soul, so that God’s light can begin to shine brightly?
